Kennel Amuloga consists of:
Luise Galka Mulbjerg and Dan Lund Mulbjerg
Luise: 30 years old and is a shop assistant.
I’ve grown up with and have always been found of dogs.
In my spare time I enjoy taking our dogs for walks and to swimming.
I arrange all the practical details for shows as well as being the
Kennel’s chatterbox
Dan: 35 years old works as a mechanic at a hydroelectric
power plant called Tangeværket.
In my spare time I enjoy training the dogs and taking them for long
walks and give a helping hand both before and during shows. You
might often find me under the waters of Lillebælt as my other
hobby is scuba diving.
Why we chose Alaskan Malamutes:
The first time we saw an Alaskan Malamute was a friend’s house
and we immediately agreed that we needed to find out more about
them. On a visit to Kennel Mihakias we spent a whole day talking
to the dogs and completely fell for them.
It’s not
exactly easy to find this type of dog but we lucky that kennel
Czarik’s had one for sale. We were also lucky to meet with their
approval and be
allowed to buy a gorgeous bitch, Czarik’s Fuxus, call name Ashanti. But, we
weren’t satisfied with only one dog and had to have a
male, too. Our breeder was abroad and was able to help us import
one from the Czech Republic, Asim Polárni úsvit, who
answer to Asim. But 2 malamute´s was not enough so on a holliday in cze
we brought Lady of the night Inditarod with us home. And she is
now a member of our pack.
Our dogs are primarily family pets, but are also trained to pull
and for obedience as well as being exhibited in shows both home
and abroad.
Puppies:
We emphasise that our dogs are healthy, calm and relaxed with both
children and strangers.
Puppies have to be planned well in advance. It’s important
for us that they grow up in our house so we can imprint them as
well as possible.
The Alaskan Malamute is a very instinctive dog, so it’s very
important, actually essential, that imprinting is 100%. |
